Around the Wild Card League:

Don’t tell me that there are still pennant races of  import in the wild card league.  In the middle of a time when pennant races should be heating up, the wild card league is playing almost 50% (7 of 15 series) for the privilege of winning the all-important wild card.

Best Series:

Oakland at Texas is a match between contenders for the same pennant.  Los Angeles at San Diego is a series between two teams within 1/2 games of each other.  Florida at San Francisco  is another example of how the Tier competition takes a weak wild card series and turns it into games that will impact on two pennant races.
